Licensed for 20 children - 2 teachers.
4/5’s Pre- K Classroom - this is the second of the two MSDE-approved educational program classrooms and provides the all-important transition year between preschool and kindergarten. Supported through the use of the Investigator Club Pre-k Curriculum, this classroom environment is structured to build a solid foundation for later learning success in the formal school setting. Focus on the areas of language and literature, math/science, social studies, art, technology, and other independent choice centers are incorporated into your child’s day. There is also an emphasis on social/emotional relations, including team building.
Hey, I'm Ms. Lilian
I have worked at SSPC Children’s Center since 2007. I started as an intern and became the lead teacher of the Toddler room that same year. In 2015, I became the lead teacher of the 4/5’s class. I am passionate about creating lessons that are fun and full of opportunities to explore. Also, I am the Food Program Coordinator and work alongside the food service vendors to bring healthy lunches and snacks to the school. I plan snack menus every month that contain a variety of foods from all the food groups. I have a bachelor's degree in Family Studies from the University of Maryland and a minor in Education - with honors. My hobbies include traveling, gardening, and cooking.
